MLAnti 2.0 just came out. I don't know much (read: anything) about it, but I'm skeptical as always of its ability to detect everyone's favorite script, as people have been trying unsuccessfully for nearly a decade (might not be quite that long).

An opponent of mine a while ago (SL|Reddemon, ironically enough) thought that I was cheating and requested a screenshot with the the taskbar (not sure if that's what it is called; the thing that popups when you hit ctrl+alt+del and shows all running programs) open.

I can't think of a way to avoid being caught in this situation if you are cheating (barring the obvious paintshop, but even that would require precision). The program acts as the server/host for the Apprentice game, so closing it ends the connection.

If it is as unfalliable as I think it is, the league should start actively using it.

It's not infallible, but... I like it Smile

It is used in cases where other methods fail, because it's not very practical.

You're not a judge, Moo, so you wouldn't understand how freaking long getting screenshots takes. Half the people don't know how, and the other half are pretty much too inept to take less than 10 minutes sending it (i.e., they save it as .bmp or something). That's why it isn't practical.

First of all, I have logged probably at least a year longer than you as a judge in online leagues, if not more, so whatever point you were trying to make there is moot.

If the league actively starts using it (i.e. make a guide), it should not take 10 minutes. It should not take 1 minute. It is very simple. Press a button, open something, paste, done.

There may be better options, but I'd still use this as often as I could when I really suspected someone of cheating.

screenshots take forever, mlanti 2 is good.

Also, the task manager thing can evaded by simply renaming the dialog box for the cheat program. I won't go into specifics.
