This is a deck I've been messing with lately.

// Lands
8 [NPH] Forest (2)
4 [SOM] Razorverge Thicket
4 [M12] Sunpetal Grove
4 [M12] Plains (2)
3 [DKA] Evolving Wilds
1 [ISD] Gavony Township

// Creatures
4 [DKA] Strangleroot Geist
3 [M12] Birds of Paradise
2 [DKA] Predator Ooze
1 [M12] Acidic Slime
2 [AVR] Sigarda, Host of Herons
1 [MBS] Thrun, the Last Troll
4 [MBS] Mirran Crusader

// Spells
4 [NPH] Sword of War and Peace
2 [ROE] Gideon Jura
3 [M12] Day of Judgment
2 [M12] Oblivion Ring
3 [M12] Angelic Destiny
2 [MBS] Green Sun's Zenith
1 [M12] Garruk, Primal Hunter
2 [ISD] Garruk Relentless/Garruk, the Veil-Cursed

// Sideboard
SB: 1 [M12] Acidic Slime
SB: 1 [M12] Day of Judgment
SB: 1 [M12] Oblivion Ring
SB: 1 [M12] Garruk, Primal Hunter
SB: 1 [MBS] Phyrexian Rebirth
SB: 2 [SOM] Ratchet Bomb
SB: 4 [NPH] Gut Shot
SB: 2 [DKA] Grafdigger's Cage
SB: 1 [ISD] Tree of Redemption
SB: 1 [SOM] Bellowing Tanglewurm

It has a couple of aggro plans. Mirran Crusader and Sword or Angelic Destiny are pretty harsh on turn 3. Of course there's a 4x Strangleroot and 2x Green Sun's to get an early aggro start if the opponent is slow to start. 3x DoJ mb because I have persistent creatures in Geist, Troll, Ooze, Gideon, and the Garruks.

What do you guys think? I've been out of the loop for a few years, and this is what I came up with a few weeks back. Any obvious cards I should/shouldn't use? Any sideboard tech I'm missing? Is my mana curve okay?

You're running DoJ... in an aggro deck.

You're only running 3x Birds of Paradise?

4 [M12] Plains (2)
8 [M12] Forest (3)
4 [ISD] Gavony Township
4 [SOM] Razorverge Thicket
4 [M12] Sunpetal Grove

4 [AVR] Sigarda, Host of Herons
4 [MBS] Hero of Bladehold
4 [B] Birds of Paradise
4 [MBS] Mirran Crusader
4 [AT] Llanowar Elves
4 [ISD] Avacyn's Pilgrim

4 [M12] Oblivion Ring
4 [NPH] Sword of War and Peace
4 [MBS] Sword of Feast and Famine

SB: 4 [M12] Autumn's Veil
SB: 4 [ISD] Bramblecrush
SB: 4 [SOM] Revoke Existence
SB: 3 [MBS] Thrun, the Last Troll

This deck is focused to get out a sword really early.
Turn One: Mana Dork (BoP, Llanowar, Pilgrim)
Turn Two: Sword or Mirran
Turn Three: Equip and Swing (Hopefully)

As for the sideboard, Autumn's Veil is a really awesome 1cmc counter-spell counter-spell that can also counter doom blades and such. Bramblecrush is just there for utility and should be taken out for something better. Revoke is pretty useful in this meta. Thrun is pretty awesome in this deck.

Yes, I am. Predator Ooze, Strangleroot Geist, Thrun, Gideon, and Garruk all give me an advantage after DoJ.
