I checked out Duodax' draft and must say I wouldve done it totally different:
ü1p1 Djinn is obvious
p1p2 I'd pick Divination, cutting neighbours off blue or Craw Wurm
UG is a really strong archetype!
p1p3 I pick Howl of the Night Pack over Griffin Sentinel(duodax pick)
I want Howl in my deck, and 3rd pick Howl is a good sign.
Griffin however is just a filler!
p1p4 This booster is empty. Picking Seismic Strike here is a good
decision as theres nothing better in it and in case red is open is
a solid removal
p1p5 I pick Horned Turtler over the Soldier, but seeing Duodax already
picked several white cards I can see how he tries to force it.
..from now on, the draft is pretty much determined by the first 5 picks so i will not further go into detail on this.
Other opinions ? |

I watched ronan's draft, and I genuinly would be interested in wth he was thinking throughout, he didn't seem to have a plan, follow signals or do anything that typifies solid drafting but managed to somehow escape with a good deck due to being passed royal assassin and serra angel.... I know ronnan is a good player, but I would love to have a draft walkthrough just to try to understand the process....
I like Duodax's first 3 picks, and his draft generally Flippi, Craw Wurm is really just not that good in draft. It doesn't have evasion, is in a colour with limited removal and costs 6 mana. It's best in gr, but in that archetype you can happily run bramble creepers (which are much worse, but do the same job) or beserkers of the blood ridge as your big late game guy so you don't need to take the craw wurms earlier |

I would have taken might of oaks first pick. That card is the bomb to have in a limited aggro deck.
If you pick 1cc-2cc creatures in a solid color, that card is gg on turn 4-5. |

you are correct dv
i draft about once each half year, so i dont really have much experience on that (rather busy reading the cards^^)
so dont search for a deeper sense |

| Holzi BY FAR drafted better than anyone else at that table. I mean he may not have won, but he is just significantly better at limited than the rest of the 8. |
