Chat/play room connection problem

when i try to log into the chat/play room,I can't see the java window and therefore can't join. It is not like it does not appear it does, however, i can't connect.

1.) Make sure your Java is up to date.
2.) If you are not using Firefox, go download it now.
3.) If all the above fails, then you really have a problem.

rather than start a new topic I figured I'd ask in a old one:

In my office but all the goddamn IT guys left.

Is their anyway I can connect to the IRC channel if Ports 6666-7000 are not active atm?

-I have MIRC, Have the Java Client and Chatzilla.

Just need to know if theirs a simple and easy 1,2,3 way to connect w/o using any of those ports (8080 somehow?)

and no I'm not going to mess w/ the firewall. That's why the IT guys get paid. Speaking of that, anyone in Prague want an IT job?
