Another 4-3-2-2 draft this time i lost in finals, gained 2 points of rating still though so still on course for breaking 1800 again.

Consign and scuttlemutt tough call but scuttlemutt deals with god auras ramps into fatties and makes it easier to splash the tethers if i do not end up blue so i took it.

Round 1 game 1 we both mull to 5 he recovers better and wins game. game 2 I get a good curve and win. Game 3 He stalls on 4 land, i get a silkbind faerie with power of fire on and go to town, he draws 5th land and plays oversoul and has strip bare which was md for my fired up fairy, i draw jaws and win.

Round 2 game 1 he gets a good curve plus 4th turn wilf leaf liege he plays this early every game I have cache raiders and flask but am un able to draw into any answers for liege and he never runs put of gas so the card advantage is not that usefull as i can not empty my hand. Game 2 he has liege turn 4 but this time i have flame javelin plus some early beats and take the game, game 3 this is why all games are so vague as this game is epic I never should have won it but my opponent conspired to allow me to do so. He has turn 2 sentry, turn 3 white cohort that i consign instead of liege, he replays on turn 4 and follows up with liege, i have tethers ready but he has turn to mist from here i think i have lost, noggle bridge breaker holds him back long enough for me to get some board presence, he then proceeds to charge all in with everything including liege for some reason i drop to three and liege dies he really should not have attacked with it. My silbind faerie is keeping me in the game at this point, I draw fire at will and he buys not tapping cohort with faerie was a misclick and i get rid of the pesky thing which is great as I am having to make maximum use out of my mana to stay in the game, I am able to get some damage in, with more than faerie finally but he has conspired aethertow, followed next turn by bloodied ghost thankfully the turn before I draw snakeform and are stil not out of it. He draws the rw untapper who gives all attacking creatures +1+0 he smashes in with him and all team, i drop to 1 but are now in the accesnsion, I beat down with mauraders and faerie having to play very fast as i have 3 minutes on clock, I draw more gas and finish the game with just over 2 minutes on clock.

Round 3 I keep a hand with a 2 drop and a 3 drop and 5 lands proceed to draw, almost entirely lands, Game 2 i keep a 4 land hand with a 2 drop 3 drop and tethers, my opponet keeps a 1 land hand from 7 which did not even seem that strong, after missing turn 2 land drop he hits drop turn 3 turn 4, whilst i draw land after land again really rubbish games.

POF is NOT the consensus best common in the set by any means. Just cuz a guy who won a GP thinks it is the best doesn't auto-make it the best. Everyone has their own style. Very rarely is there a consensus best common (last one that comes to mind is Ephemeron in TSP) and there certainly isn't one in SHM.
