Back with another 4-3-2-2 draft some people actually seem to like them and there helping me so thats more than enough motivation to carry on. I won this one.

sb cards of note

Smash smithereens
crabapple cohort
gloomwidows feast
pucas mischief
banashing knack

Round 1 vs uw, game 1 i get some early beats on, i look in trouble when he plays effigy, as all my cratures have 1 toughness but i draw demigod and smash, he draws a swans however but in the end, I am ablr to conspire burn trail ftw, game 2 i silly go for the win and attack for exactly letahl with swans beating me down in air, with jaws but he has an obvious fireatwill as he has left only tripple white up. Game 3 I get on some early beats, he stabilizes and keeps leaving suspicios amounts of mana up so i do not go for burn trail for the win, eventually a cultbrand cinder draws the suspected counter a put awayout of his hand, next go he dumps his hand and i burn trail him out ftw.
Round 2 vs mono white, I get a couple of two for ones and win with jaws, game 2 we both stall on two lands but i ahve early stuff including a clout on a riverfall mimic, i recover a bit better and buy the time he draws his 4th land its to late opponet was a very nice guy.
Round 3 vs uw, game 1 1 keep a questionable hand with2 swamps and demigod plus burn trail and jaws and also garewarden, we both stall on 2 land but he draws out of it quicker, I try to recover but he lays more and more gas and i can never get pack on to equal footing. Game 2 i get on some early beats, smash with demi god and conspire burn trail ftw. I get a very good aggreaive draw turn 1 dugar, turn 2 battlegate, turn 3 bandit, he does very little and keeps leaving 4 mana open, i have already seen repeal intruders and i do not want to walk any of the cards in my hand into it, he then lays mistmeadow witch, but i continue to beat with bandit, he snakeforms and kills of blocking with scarecrow but this gives me oppertunity to play cinder and kill witch as he has only three mana up, next go i draw a creature i do not mind walking into repel raiders, sure enough he has it turn after i drop demi god smash, then next go burn trail ftw.

Feedback appreciated.

Pack 1 pick 1> im not a fan of picking these uncommons so early. yes 4 of them are powerful, but you are making a committment to ONE color, which is much harder than 2. i feel like the picks are between steel of the god head and tattermunge duo. both keep you open and are pwerful in their respectie colors. id lean twoards the dua b/c at worst hes an efficient guy.

pack 1 pick 2. this pack is full of great stuff. aethertow, barkshell blessing and the witch are 3 best cards, but happen to b ein the same color. aethertow is more powerful than the blessing, so we can rule it out. so between the witch and aether tow, id take the tow. yes the witch is very powerful, but it does require 2 colors and your passing 2 great cards in white, so pack 2 might not be that great for you.

pack 1 pick 3. the cohort is great, but isnt as powerful as pili pala is. one is a 5/5 beat stick, while the other is a combo enabler, and sometimes fixes mana. pala will almost always make the cut, while the other asks you to be in green.

pack 1 pick 5. Another aethertow.

pack 1 pick 6. hey a blue card, and its good. wait, aethertow is blue...

pack 1 pick 7. prismwake merrow is a very impressive man, turning off enchantments and presenting a surprise blocker. hes also blue.

other than that everything else seemed fine. my different picks would have led to a different deck, but idk if it would have been better. i would have taken the double cleave over the clout because im just unimpressed by enchantments that dont have lure or make ur guy unblockable AND do soemthing else, but thats just me.

Basically every pick you critiqued was better than what you suggested. Jaws is clearly the right pick, "committing to a colour" in order to get something that powerful is worth it. If red doesnt work out for you, you can always draft something else. p1p2 the right pick was probably witch, because it leaves you open for either red or u/w. Raiders is still a better pick than tow tho, as it effectively cuts red, making jaws more likely to be playable. p1p3 After taking the raiders, cohort is clearly the right choise. Pili-pala does not even approach Cohort's power level. If either of his first picks was POF then pili over cohort could have been justified, but they werent, so it isnt. After taking 4 g/r cards, taking a tow is silly. It is not a strong enough card to splash, and it certainly isnt strong enough to warrant a colour change. Crimson wisps turns off enchantments almost as well as prismwake, and it is in the one colour he knows he will be playing.

I would like to point out that you drafted this quite well, the only real critisism I have is your comment for p1p6 (puca's). My thought process would be "I could easily splash this, or even move into U." I think this is more correct as at 3U that doesnt need to be played turn 4, it is a very easy splash, and you already had a great RG deck going. It turns out to be a moot point, as the u/r in pack 3 was too good to ignore, but something that should be mentioned none-the-less.

Kilomitro you certainly have a very unusal drafting style but whatever works for you.

Coolcreep thats better, the witch pick i justify as i want to stay mono coloured as long as possible and witch is an automatic commitment to two colours plus jaws is stronger than witch so unless i see good reason ie no red coming then im going to continue to draft red cards.

Fair enough. making sure you can play jaws for a significant amount of damage is good, even if it means passing a bomb like UW witch
