So basically with the loss of Lavamancer, Might, etc, you gain a couple goodies from shards as well, here's a nice version of 5cc Zoo v2.0:
Creatures: (27)
4x Wild Nacatl
4x Kird Ape
4x Mogg Fanatic
3x Isamaru, Hound of Konda
4x Watchwolf
4x Tarmogoyf
4x Woolly Thoctar
Spells: (12)
4x Lightning Helix
4x Tribal Flames
4x Rift Bolt
Land: (21)
4x Windswept Heath
4x Wooded Foothills
4x Bloodstained Mire
2x Stomping Ground
2x Temple Garden
2x Sacred Foundry
1x Steam Vents
1x Blood Crypt
1x Godless Shrine
Sideboard: (15) -
4x Dark Confidant vs. control
2x Ronom Unicorn vs. threads.dec & blood moon
2x Kami of Ancient Law vs. threads.dec & blood moon
4x Kitaki, War's Wage vs. affinity & shackles/jitte/mox
3x Gaddock Teeg vs. combo & some control
Please give plenty of comments on this deck, I'm sure the first thing that will be commented on is the Dark Confidant's in the sideboard, they are up for grabs vs. thoughtseize in my opinion... |

| well the confidants definently belong in the main as they make the deck rum smoother and not run out of steam. It is also a must kill for your opponents thus taking some of the heat off your other creatures. |

Yeah, confidant is essential. Perhaps instead of watchwolf... and I think figure of destiny is an important drop to include (better than mogg) . Also, I prefer seal of fire/tarfire instead of rift bolt (they are instant and your goyf gets fatter)
What do you think? |

5c? THERE IS NO BLUE! Also cc usually means converted cost not colours. I know, Im trivial but just had to comment. Anyway, I do think Zoo is gonna be great in extended, maybe even the "best" deck, deck to beat.
:edit: Oh yeah, of course there is blue. Forgot Tribal Flames completely. |

New extended will be everything onslaught and up. It rotates in October when Alara becomes legal. |

i'll probably get killed for this, but i dont like tarmogoyf here. the faster you can deal damage in zoo, the better. so we play the best burn spells and creatures that will do just that. (you all know that though)
so, we can't really afford to play cards like seal of fire that deal less damage while pumping your goyf when you have it.
in this deck, goyf attacks turn 3 for 2 damage a large majority of the time.
anyway, i think that's what you cut for Bob
4 bob
4 nacatal
4 kird ape
3 doran
1 wooly thoctor?
4 watchwolf
4 fanatic
4 helix
4 rift bolt
4 char (mana for javelin?)
4 tribal flames
something along those lines seems really solid
figure vs. fanatic? |

| Yeah Figure over Mogg Fanactic. If you run out of steam then would you want to flip a Mogg or a Figure? Assume that you will be in topdeck mode and pick your creatures with this in mind. |

Turn 1 Fetchland (you or your opponent).
Turn 2 Tarmogoyf (1/2 at least)
Turn 3 Burn a blocker (3/4 at least) swing.
Turn 1 Fetchland, Tarfire/Seal of Fire a one drop
Turn 2 Tarmo (3/4 or 4/5). |

I will surely pay 1 during my upkeep to keep your creature. Or 1 to keep my Jitte controling the board. |

| Shattering Spree is the go to answer. Wing Shards is some fun on the side for the aggro matches that you will surely have. |
