Peasant magic - Deckbuilding competition

Prizes: 30E total

1 - Strongest deck (10E)
2 - Coolest deck (10E)
3 - IF the deck is selected by the competition's host for play on the 25th, there's another 10E's to be won.

The format is slightly different from general peasant magic due to the ban policy:
* No more than five 5 uncommon cards.
* No rare cards.
* At least 55 common cards.
* Decks should be atleast 60 cards.
* Sideboards should be 15 cards.
* There may be no more than 4 copies of any single card except basic land.

- Mana Drain
- Brain Freeze
- Strip Mine
- Frantic Search
- Sol Ring
- Skullclamp
- Tendrils of Agony

- Great Furnace
- Seat of the Synod
- Tree of Tales
- Vault of Whispers
- All commons and uncommons from unhinged and unglued

This means for example:
maze of ith = uncommon.
mishra's factory = uncommon
serendib efreet = rare

I just realised the closing date is already on the 18th of July.
Even if you're too late for that you can still put your deck here and maybe it can change the metagame!

3 decklists per person maximum, Eventide is legal!

Burn, mono green beats, mono black aggro, slivers etc. are options, but they're already abundant in peasant magic.
Choosing an onorthodox (but strong) route might improve your chances of winning.

Posting your decks here as suggestions for the format in general would be appreciated though since this format is ongoing and developing.

I think that Peasants should be allowed four rares. Even budget players should be pushed to collect playsets of there favorite cards. I realize the format is "for everyone" but kind of forcing the newer(not quite rich) players to go out and trade cards. It would be very interesting if Wizards did this I think the format would be a ton of fun.

The peasant magic tournament is every last friday of the month overhere, which means that any tech is still appreciated. The person who started the contest will play on the 25th, so maybe he'll decide to run a suggestion here even if it's late.

I'm not sure how the UB deck is supposed to win. I ran it vs. a peasant madness deck and it went down all games Sad

Elf Clamp is my favorite deck but it folds to MBC which folds to Suicide Black which folds to RDW which folds to Elf Clamp. Those decks are usually 70+% of the meta when I play.
As for 4 Rares in Peasant, you have obviously never played Peasant. The whole point is that there are no Rares, Rares do broken stuff in such a format and would make all the decks retarded (I mean every aggro deck plays 4 Jittes, Combo would get 10x better, at that point why not play Legacy)

Actually, skullclamp is banned.

we have effective domain decks and dredge decks in the environment as well. There's also a pretty decent Empty the Warrens deck around.

The second UB deck is a lot more effective. It killed quite a few of my gauntlet decks straight. Goblin burn poses a problem, but sofar it does look very good.

Really in Ext Pauper magic you do have a good combo deck with Tendrills. Invasion Sac lands are common and so are all of the Rituals are common. So really you can go off with Grapeshot+Tendrills+Burn. You can also side in 3 Pyroclasm/Firespout for a board control.

I am still working on the list but you can guess the auto in cards are. Ponder, Rift Bolt, Cabal Ritual, Rite of Flame, And Incinerate. I only play 2-3 Tendrills. I am still playing with the numbers. I will post a list when it's ready.
