Do you guys think this card has a place in standard? Do it on a Goyf or a Lark. Gargadon. Etc.

Does it have a place in any deck?

Comments please.

Vanish on a goyf is a -2. Could be okish with lark, you break even on cards but then get 2 guys and then can reuse the lark, however, a body double from that lark might not have another in yard lark to copy. With garga, if you have a 9/7 creature out, why not just push it into the redzone?

Possible lark, but thats a major longshot, not gonna happen.

It's too cute.

goyf and gargadon would be your opponents creatures. i was thinking it might be ok in lark but not sure. just an idea. random cards are good sometimes if smart people come up with good ideas. if you do it on a lark it is pretty good card draw and you could win on ur next upkeep etc.

ok, why spend 4 mana to give yourself a -2 card advantage and to only delay the goy 1 turn?

how often does gargadon come down that you would want to vanish it? and like i said, only delays it 1 turn and you only break even on cards with garga.

whether this card is good or not....vendillion clique is the main card that comes to mind...but its not good enough to build a deck around. lark is in there to because the card can actually be used in the deck....blink is better...you could replace careful study, if you cast on lark its pretty much the same effect + you get guys back and keep your lark. you can cast on every other creature in your deck to just fish for what you need and dumping lark targets in the yard. It also gets back creatures that are sowered. and seeing how most of your non lark creatures have CiP abilities that helps even more in that situation. I would say test it. Could be techy.

The problem is that it costs 4 mana, and a combo deck that wants to go off will not typically want to have that much mana open for eventualities. When I play against lark combo I have noticed that they often tap out, sometimes with two mana open for Rune Snag - every turn. I would rather play Telling Time than Vanish into Memory in that deck.
