He actually have 3 Inversion, 4 Pact, which I think should be changed.

Actually, pact was one of the few cards that kills magus with that deck, if magus hit the table before you can tap for the mana to kill it, then slaughter at EOT, means you are able to tap the land needed in up-keep and then play your spells normally. That or redcap.

4 Slaughter Pact main isn't good even though you are 100% certain you will face Magus of the Moon during a tourney. You shouldn't play it in turn 3, because that means you are open to anything the following turn. It is a card that can surprise an opponent for a good card advantage or tempo advantage situation, and even after that make him play more conservative even when you are tapped out.

But it is also a lot more restrictive than Nameless Inversion, and the free casting cost isn't always relevant - in fact in most situations, I would rather pay 2 mana to kill a creature in his turn, than to pay 3 in my turn. Magus of the Moon is not a good enough reason to play 4 Slaughter Pact main in any deck, regardless of basic land count.

I'm sying that once magus is on the table, sometimes slaughter will be the only spell you are able to cast to kill magus.
