So what is your plan regarding this combo? Let yourself get beat down to 1 life and then use it? I feel like a well-timed Release the Ants would defeat this strategy thoroughly.

I think we all learned from this that you shouldn't manaburn to 1 vs red decks.

I know that's what he means..
I used Release the Ants as an example because it's shitty and does 1 damage - case in point.

You could be Incinerated or Shocked or Tarfired or Flame Javelined, too.
All I was getting at is that the combo is quite risky and unreliable.

brent, seriously, your ideas suck. If you're at 1 life and they're at 20, chances are you still won't win after you switch life totals.

That card is absolutely ridiculous! -19 for opponent, +19 for me??? I'm already ordering 500! But seriously, its so easy to disrupt, with any burn spell. Also, what if they counter manequin? Then you just lose, because you've been manaburning yourself all game.

Even with matchlosses for an illegal deck, painter's + grindstone would win you more games in t2.

Yeah I think there's a reason why people haven't used that combo. If there was a fail-safe way, it would be more popular.

ok. don't manaburn urself. lol. its just good tech in some situations. just an idea. lol. i think you would have to play really well to use it right though. i am not sure what kind of deck it would go in but it is a powerful card.
