| You really have to ditch those ravenous rats...they are completely useless in combat. Play Shrieking Grotesque instead, you have enough 2 drops anyway. |

That one card you mentioned from Exodus;
Not legal in Extended, and even when it was, it was banned. |

Well, it's still legal in Legacy and Vintage .. It's such an annoying card.

Hmm I don't know. I've been searching for options for them, but Shrieking Grotesque.. Hm.. I just don't know. It's good to have a 2/1 flying no doubt, but it's still 3 mana for one. Nothing better for 3 mana? =/ |

Well some people like hypnotic specter, because he can let them discard over and over again, and the discard is random. However, most of the time he will die before he can do anything.
This is not so much a problem if you are playing 'I win the game by myself if not dealt with' creatures like Dark Confidant and Tarmogoyf, because they will most likely be targeted before the specter.
What I really like about the grotesque is that he replaces himself instantly because they have to discard one, now if they use removal on it you get card advantage, and if they don't they take 2 each turn. |

Cemetery Puca doesn't look bad in this deck too. Too bad its not only "Put into a graveyard" .. Still, with so many mortify/vindicate/chainer's edict ( I got 4 of em in), might be a good idea to gain advantage from my opponent? I mean, someone gets a tarmogoyf in play, I vindicate him, pay 1, and have my own goyf haha! That last 4 creature slot ( currently owned by ravenous rats) is really the only thing im not 100% happy yet. Looking for options. This one looks like a good one to me. |

puca is actually really terrible. against aggro its a 3cc dude that is killed by every removal in the format, and against control decks with few creatures, its a 1/2 for 3. yeah it would be fun to use it, but that is just the big shiny button callin ur name. when the big shiny button calls, dont pick up the phone. for the rat slot i would suggest silver knights. great against red, and aggro in general.
are simply stellar when you equip them with jittes or SoFIs |

I can honestly say that I'm loving this deck. It ended up not being what I had initially thought but I'm really happy the way it turned out. I just added the Silver knights + 4 Swords of Fire and Ice, and it really pumped the deck up. My few losses are normally due to lack of one of the mana's, which is probably the weakest point, not having any non basic lands besides Tainted Field, but that can be solved in time.
I just wanted to give a brief sum up of all the creatures:
Spectral Lynx: It holds the aggro really well, attacks when has a breach, and basically stands fearless in the battle field really well soon in the game.
Descendant of Kiyomaro My lifesaver, to say it all. Not only its a 3/5 for 3 mana 90% of the time, cause my discarding is way bigger than he can hold his hand, and it gains 3 life for each time it deals damage. They can win matches.
Jotun Grunt He needs a bit of training to get on with timings when to and not to play him, but he holds off pretty much anything, as well as dealing good damage for about 2/3 rounds ( depending on graveyard cards).
Silver Knight Quoting kfcman "great against red, and aggro in general. ". Allied with Swords of fire and ice, Its a really good defense breaker.
Tombstalker Quite the match finisher. In mid-game, I can usually play him for 2 manas, removing 6 in my graveyard (filled with discard and destroy cards :p).
As for the spells, it's just learn your timings and know pretty much what you're playing against, so not to waste vindicates and such on crappy creatures
Thanks for everyone that gave me suggestions to build the deck, I really appreciated them.
EDIT: Im still thinking about sideboard, but it shouldn't be much confusion or anything. Probably add smother's/chainer's edict, infests, and anything else usefull I can think for other situations |

| While Silver Knight is a nice creature, he's a lot better with jitte then the is with sofai. He already has pro red so sticking the sword on him is not making him any more unblockable then any other random creature. So i'd say play jitte instead if you can. |
