A New Deck

Is 5 color green viable in the current type 2 meta filled with a variety of interesting archetypes to play with? Discuss please. I hope to eventually create a card-deck of magic cards that will "crush" all other decks.
Some discussion starters:
1. Snow or basic lands? This could also go under what temperature the creatures you summon would prefer. For example, a Birds of Paradise would thrive in regukar lands, while a Snow Creature from the Ice Age block would almost certainly prefer snow lands. Discuss!!!
2. How many lands???5,10,15? I like to cast creatures. How many lands?
3. Can I "crush" other decks? How, what archetypes and which standard meta?
4. Is the current standard metagame ready for an archetype of these proportions or should I wait until they bring back Mercadian Masks???
5. Counterspells. Did they ban all of them or just the blue ones?

1. only nonbasic snow.
2. 5 is absolutely enough.
3. yes, and i recommend playing at least 120 cards to improve your MU against mill, the strongest deck in the meta.
4. wait for it.
5. they banned all of them, nothing can stop your deck now!

I don't think that they banned counterspells. Last I heard they did ban all Islands. It was only a matter of time...

1. I will try Uros there, to use only snow lands.

2. 2 Lands, consider yourself lucky if u find one.

3. Yeah If you find the second land, you wil crush with Uros Stompy.

4. Its not prepare, Uros Stompy of the snowlands will be a tier 1 in 2200.

5. Counterspells are not going to be banned, I recommend again playing here with 4 Pact of negation, It will protect your uros and gives you a surprise in your snowy upkeep.
