I still cannot connect...

ok... Ive tried everything i can think of... like taking down my firewall ... and i still can not connect to a server for workstation.

what are other possible things that are keeping me from connect with workstation

Here's a list of alternative servers: (some might be outdated)

mwsplay.net
mwsgames.net
pavouk.square.cz
mwstal.no-ip.biz
mws.ligamagic.com
magic-league.game-server.cc

If none of these works, maybe your network doesnt allow connections on the mws ports. Either open the ports by yourself or ask the administrator of your network for advice.
Often on campus-computer pools, these ports are locked and i guess there isnt much you can do if you try to connect from there.
