Just had some questions about how this deck fares vs aggro in general. Does it have enough ability to stall till the win game one with tempo counters and moments peace? Post board is it enough to bring in Goyfs and a triskelion or two? Is a card like sun droplet or delusions of mediocrity warranted?

My experience in this area is summed up by playing The Rock/Doran Rock against UG Tron in 2 of the 3 PTQs I've gone to this season.

The thing I learned is that a little bit of disruption + a gaddock teeg completely ruins their day. You really need to run some answer for that guy or you will just lose.

Well, I've got a maindeck triskelion, and have got two more SBed, I was thinking they might be better than the extract, but I'm not sure. I realize they cost, well, twice as much, so.. Thoughts?

I have 2 Triskelions MD and 1 other in the board along with 3 Moonglove Extract. They have worked fine against Teeg and Medling Mages for that mather.

To answer the main question, yes, UG Tron has enough resistant vs. creature aggro decks. But when they starts to play with more burn than creauture like Burn Deck Wins it's starts to look grim.

Just remember that when Teeg is down, it shuts out a lot of your mean to get to cards you need (no Gifts, no scrying with condescend, no draw from repeal)... You won't be able to actively draw a teeg answer without a sufficient critical mass of answers. It's kind of like fighting dredge in a sense Razz

Running some extra trikes and some extracts is probably reasonable. Pongify can be yanked from your hand before they drop teeg, though they wont be as keen to waste a vindicate on your moonglove extract (which would give you room to counter it as well pre-teeg).

Speaking of Burn Deck Wins, the match up is balls. Is it worth sideboard space to improve it? Speaking specifically of GP Philly, do you think it will be there enough to warrant SB slots?

i dont think that theres is room to sb for burn, ive tried sun droplets and stuff like that and you cant rly win anyway so i dont see the need to sb for it, in matchups where u have to sb like 5+ cards and your still an underdog in the matchup isnt worth sb space for it.

Probably not enough burn.

However, you should make it a point to have bounce for Leylines...and Teeg (other than Repeal).

Think they'd really bring in Leyline against me? I mean, I realize it shuts the combo down and all..

How else do you win? A single Sundering Titan/Angel doesn't kill most decks with artifact hate. Leyline pretty much shuts down your actual win condition.

I meant vs most decks, not burn in general. I suggest that there won't be much. However, if there is lots of UG tron, burn will be around day 2.
