Cannot connect to MWS or chat

So for the past 3 days whenever I try to call the list of players on MWS it says "Connection on TCP/IP (Not Responding)" and a popup comes up that says "Could not connect." Also starting at that same time, I can't connect to the chatrooms here, I get the "unable to connect: null" message. Also I tried to do a fantasy baseball draft on yahoo which uses a java applet to run the live drafts and I could not connect to the draft. Any idea what is going on?
