Why would anyone not play Island? It is the most powerful card in the game. I move that Island be banned from Standard. It has an unbalancing effect on the metagame. Allowing players to quickly gain card advantage, tempo advantage, and having some of the best selective disruption in the game makes for an "unfair" metagame.

If you are not playing Island in your deck then you are most likely playing an "Anti-Island" deck.
