Do not run leylines in sideboard ever. 4 extirpates are sooo much better.

I can tell you that this deck kind of strugles against combo. Vs some combo decks(e.g. ideal) scepter chant may be enough, vs other decks it isnt and since your only thread is also the unbreakable lock and cost 5 mana and you only play 2 they have plenty of time. some manlands would be nice to atleast have somewhat of a clock. If you combine that with a few utility creatures it even gets better(e.g. venser). And i realy dislike this list doesnt have cunning wish, it let you get scepter chant more easy and opens for some other nice things(lightning helix on scepter is also a win condition) and obviously i let you search your extirpates against dredge from side in game 1 or even stifles... I guess the aggro matchup is nice, i dont understand the random explosives with no way to find it. The sideboard had a lot of dredge hate, i am not sure how many dredge players your meta has but if it isnt a huge thing 4 cards may be enough. I am not sure how this deck is doing against aggro control but i doesnt seem very good. Well thats all for now.

yo do realise that its not his list its the japanesse list from valencia, its not that strong i tried it out and it seemed very underpowered, and it runs damnation over wrath bc its only white cards are chants and it gets better black cards, and cunning wish sucks in chant btw.

Smother on a stick sucks SO much.
I kinda agree with keysam except for the combo part. This deck has chant and counterspells so it should have a good mu against combo decks. And the man lands simply don't work.
I am a huge scepter chant fan and played it for ages but right now, the deck is kinda struggling to survive. Of course, some kinda mutation of the deck could still be viable, not just the "classic" one.
And i really dislike this version, btw.

Cunning Wish is just way too slow in the format. And not having it allows for an actual sideboard. I've been playing the deck for 2 years now, but even I have to hang up the Sticks for, I'm pretty sure its just not viable.

Why would you ever want smother on a stick when you can have demise on a stick. In a deck like this demise is almost always better. Also he runs more black mana overall the white is only for chant obv that is why he doesn't run WoG. I also feel extirpate would be far better in this deck. You only need to worry about a few spells and extirpate does that easy plus you can put it on a stick what is not to like? I really dislike this deck because of the 2 teferi as win condition main deck, I always like having the option of fire/ice or helix on a stick also at the very least.
