Has anyone seen the newest release of OCTGN 2.0.

Everything has been implemented/fixed.

I think it can be officially used for Magic-League now.

Seeing that we as magic-league don't officially support any program to play magic online for free (due to copy right issues a few months back), we let people decide for themselves in what way they want to play their game of magic.

That's good to know.

You do have links on the side though on where people can download Magic Workstation, Netdraft and now even the largely defunct Apprentice. The program is fully functional and has 20+ players in the chatroom at any given time to play games.

So why not include a link to OCTGN 2.0 as well?

Please consider it. Everything that needs to be included in a "Guide" is right here.

The download link for OCTGN 2.0 is here...
http://www.octgn.net/downloads.php
(Simply click "Install OCTGN 2" in Internet Explorer.)

Once you have the program itself, everything you need to download, the MTG game module, and all of the sets is right here...
http://www.mediafire.com/sets
(Get all of the sets from the O2 folder.)

If you just want to download the MTG game module by itself, the magic game definition is available at...
http://filebeam.com/bcc3b17ace45fde83ce8bee787aedf84
(Remove the .txt from the file name after downloading.)

To connect to a chatroom full of players, simply go to...

So if I want to give this a try I have to download each set pack? There isn't an all in one set to download?

They are working on packages containing 2 blocks each (6 sets) or core sets. Standard (alara block + zen and M10) and a couple of vintage packs are already available.

I made a small program (in Scala) which takes all your decks from MWS and converts them to OCTGN.

The doc and download is here :
