3 Isochron Scepter
3 Psychatog

4 Polluted Delta
3 Flooded Strand
9 Island
1 Swamp
1 Urza's Factory
// Sideboard
SB: 1 Darkblast
SB: 1 Psychotic Haze
SB: 4 Duress
SB: 1 Mystical Teachings
SB: 1 Orim's Chant
SB: 1 Extirpate
SB: 1 Makeshift Mannequin
SB: 1 Ghastly Demise
SB: 4 Tormod's Crypt
I've tested this deck a good bit and it's consistency has improved. the sideboard is what is in need of help.
The deck has great game against aggro, since it is everywhere in the meta here (and i'm sure a lot of other places) and the deeds and scepters help the ideal matchup as well.
Occasionally you can randomly lock your opponent out of the game by wishing for orims chant when you have scepter.
I want to add another extirpate maindeck so i can get it with teachings because gifts rock and genisis becomes problematic. |

I'm not fond of decks that concede to a single resolved Meddling Mage + counter backup or counter/top.
Add more win conditions. |

i would like to point out to people who read this man's comment and believe him that my deck runs more counters than any other deck in the format and i run spellsnare. after the meddling mage is in play (i'm assuming naming psychatog, which, in testing, nobody has ever found to be the deck's most threatening card) they still have to counter pernicious deeds (4) and smothers (4) and cunning wish.
I believe a resolved medling mage is far from a scoop sir.
Extirpate is another problem and i've thought about adding man-lands. |

I would like to see QD and one Teferi in the main. It makes the Chant a real lock. QD can grow really fast.
The normal version of the deck would use Countertop. I like the fact that you are trying something new in the deck. |

Teferi is good as an additional win condition and can win games indirectly by allowing you to cast togs your opponent just does not expect. For metagames with less aggro, teferi is absolutely necessary.
QD is not synergistic with the deeds, also one of the strengths of this deck is that it does not play many creatures and uses the fact that your opponent is holding dead removal spells to its advantage. |
