Run Gathan Raiders or something creature wise.

And try Impending Disaster.

I don't really like the deck, but running Impending could help if your opponents deck starts getting away.

Why are we even talking about the deck? There is is no Armagedon, Stiffle, or big beaters. That would be a good start.

Core
4x Armagedon
4x Phyrexian Dreadnuaght (spelling)
4x Tarmogoyf or Terravore
4x Trinket Mage
3x Stiffle
3x Trickbind
2x Disenchant ( 2 for 1 on Moxes! 3 would be good. Hmm what could be cut? )

Support
4x Chrome Mox
4x Swords to Plowshares
3x Life from the Loam
3x Sylven Liberary (spelling?)
2x Card Drawing spell

3 Artifact Lands
1 Dryad Arbor
6 Fetches
10 Dual Lands ( the real ones! )

That is what a Land D deck would look like in 1.5.

So why does it look like that? 'Gedon is the best mana denial spell ever printed. Stifle and Trickbind are great vs Fetches and most combo decks. Also they let you play the nuaghts when you are ready. StP is the best one for one removal spell ever. Trinket Mage gets you lands, Moxes, and 'Nuaghts in game one and tool box in game 2-3.

It is not really my style anymore but this is very close to deck that I did well with.

I am not saying that it will be good in this meta buit it is worth looking at.

That was pretty much my point. You can you use land control to disrupt the game state but not as a whole deck.

It's worked before as a deck. Not a top deck now though.

It had its moments WAY back when during IA when you ran Pox, Sinkhole, Geddon, etc. Old school Pox was basically Land D running those or then their was R/B/G Land D. Anyway...

Whoever started this thread, if you want to play land D. Make something old school with Dingus Egg's and Ankh of Mishra's that's not Tier 1 but playable on the Rogue Circut.

Or...play Pox

No you are forgeting abou one of the best aggro control decks of all time. Ernham-'Geddon! If you take a look at the list that I posted, it is a lot like it. I did kinda randomly toss in the 'nuaghts cuase I alreadly had the Stiffle and Trickbind in the deck. The only thing that it is really missing is some Elves and Brids of Paradise.

I'm pretty sure the Crucible with the factories are his main win condition.

play Angel Stax. it runs plenty of land destruction effects and is also tier 2 instead of being completely relegated to the casual table like a dedicated LD deck is.

Yeah Angel Stax, any deck with a Land D disruption or B/W Pox running 4 Vindicates in the pocket.

Spyx: Good to see my reanimate propaganda working. I'd drop a Tombstalker and throw in another Nether or Reanimate.
