Hello folks,
I used to use Apprentice a few years back quite a bit. I've recently tried to use it again with no luck. I do not have a firewall. I do not have a router. I have a regular hardline cable connection. I still get the silly "Winsock Error #10053". I have to ask, is it a compatibility problem with Windows XP, since Trumpet Winsock seems not to function with Windows XP? Any advice would be welcome.

| It's definitely compatible with windows XP. Not sure on your problem, make sure you have no firewalls running...can you connect to others? |

| Thanks for the response. I always get a "winsock error operation would block" message. I have seen this referenced elsewhere in these forums here on this site, but I cannot find a solution to the problem. Any suggestions? |
