Does anyone think that there will be slivers in lorwyn block. You would think they would have them in the first set since slivers are the most tribal creature type I can think of.

Actually there is not ANY slivers in Lorwyn block:

"Are there any other races that show up in any number?

No. Well, unless you count Shapeshifters, then yes."

- Mark Rosewater

This was a question in the first wizards article about lorwyn just after naming the only 8 races to be in the new set:

Goblins
Elves
Kithkin
Elementals
Merfolk
Faeries
Giants
Treefolk

The one confirmed "sliver" has the changeling ability. It's all creature types at all times, so yes it's a sliver. It's also a chicken. And an ape. And a kithkin. And a sheep. And a sand.

I really doubt they would put slivers in Lorwyn since A) they make no sense there, B) They put slivers in the last tribal block as a big surprise, they wouldn't do the same thing again and C) They JUST USED slivers in Timespiral block. Nobody likes slivers enough to want them every freaking block, even me.

I like slivers but only in Legacy. I do not think that we will see any in this set. I am sad to see gobos in this block. I think that over the course of time gobos have been the best tribe by far. I really think that we do not need any new gobos.

In other news, I am glad to see other tribes getting some new cards to play.

Can we get more Humans and cards that support them?

humans are the tribe with the most cards. :/

also, slivers would be both stupid in lorwyn, illogical, and tiring. enough with the slivers already :/

I just thought this. There is already a sliver that is like that Mistform Sliver. So why do we need another one?
