Would a 3 card combo requiring a 3 mana permanent in play and 3 mana to play one card from hand be considered bad?

In legacy i wont suggest a 3 card combo, only if you can fit it into an other deck... There are so many 2 card combos possible in legacy thats it not worth in my oppinion ;9

Ok..thanks Sam...could you give me some examples of those two card combos?

I'm new to the format...it looks like it has a much broader metagame..so thought I would give it a try.

How is Trix a lame combo??? It's arguably the second most powerful combo of all times (Academy.dec being the first, and yes I consider Dragon to be third, sue me).

I never said their are format wrapping ones. but i often try to roguedeck, and if you want stand any chance i suggest searching for a 2 card combo which is searchable by 1 card (2 creatures, 2 instants/sorcerys, 2 enchanments/artifacts) of course it would be better if you find a card like belcher never used wiseful... but i dont belive that will be the case... Ah and its realy doable to win some trials at least with rogue decks. never forget that you have an great advantage vs fish if you play a rogue combo... what the hell i name on meddling Wink

@thorns i am not sure but i think earthcraft was also a nice deck at its time Wink and affinity could also be counted as a combo like deck.
