U/W Control seems like it can be a very dominant deck right now yet not one list seems to be coming up anywhere.

Any thoughts?

Well if you have UW, it will be the type of pure control UB Dralnu is, except Dralnu is better because it has Mystical Teachings and access to more utility black cards such as discard.

Besides, 1 of UW's best finisher cards are basically dead with Sulfur Elemental in the format.

Traditionally white gets paired with blue because it had spot removal (Swords to Plowshares) and mass removal (Wrath of God).

Guess which color has those cards now?

But uw control could still be very viable. And ug control will get more important when 10th is coming, when dstorm is realy away, glare becomes a very strong deck again, and vs dranlu you have tons of good cards, beside akroma, vitugahzi, Mystic enforcer, (even whirling dervish).... that all gives gw glare a edge i think. Dont forget you even got glittering wish, i bet there will be a very good ghlare version in tenth.

I play UW Control in T2..its doing alright..its like the Cubs tbh...not very good but not that bad either..

I use to run Akroma but by the time I got that much mana I either didnt need Akroma or she wouldnt help so I cut her. All I got now is Seth tigers and Teferi..obv Hussar..and some other buddies that help out.

Urza`s Factory of course....and then the rest is mostly standard UW..lots of counters..white disruption...etc etc.

That list should have errata that says "I will miss my fourth turn land drop"

UW control needs at least 24 lands and at least 2 artifact mana. I have beed playing UW for a long time. I remember when Serra Angel was the best White finsher. You must have 4th turn Wrath of God. If you don't you may as well scoop vs any good aggro deck.

You need to cut some win con from the deck to get the mana right. Also the player with the most mana in the control match up wins the game. I played 26 land and 4 Mind Stone all the time and did very well with it.
