Just put this together yesterday, and it's been working great so far. Constructive feedback greatly appreciated, especially on sideboard.

4 avalanche riders
4 riftwing cloudskate
3 lightning angel
2 venser shaper savant
1 bogardan hellkite

4 momentary blink
4 temporal isolation
3 boom/bust
2 careful consideration
2 mystical teaching
4 prismatic lens
3 coalition relic

7 island
6 mountain
4 plains
2 flagstones of trokair
4 terramorphic expanse
1 urza's factory

current sb:
4 dodecapod
3 fortune thief
3 ancient grudge
3 stonecloaker
2 pull from eternity

I'm thinking of cutting boom/bust cause I want more careful consideration, and to smooth mana requirements. Armageddon is just awesome though with the 7 mana artifacts. Color screw hasn't been a big issue, once in about 15 matches so far.

I had a similar deck in mind but haven't gotten a chance to test it. Does it handle the aggro matchup well?

I haven't dropped a match vs the wg(r) tarmo decks, but I've only played 3 matches against them. Stonecloakers really help in this mu to do combat tricks and control tarmogoyf. Plus the only way they can handle fortune thief (non red splash versions) is sb sunlance, and you can just try to save your blinks for that. I haven't played at all vs the monored aggro, but i'd imagine it's a terrible mu for this deck. Seems like it would be tough to control their low cc's and you can't color screw them.

I would try to fit in one Draining Whelk. I love the Hellkite though. Also why are you not playing the 4 Angels? It is so good vs most of the meta. I guess that if you cut the Bust then you can do this...

+1 Draining Whelk
+1 Careful
+1 Teachingz

To smooth out the mana even more I would cut the Flagstones for Nimbus Maze. Also you may want look into cuting one Lens. For one more Factory or one more Lightning Angel. I think that 6 artifact mana should be good.

I really don't think that you need to worry about Red Deck Wins anymore. It has really fallen out of favor due to meta changes.

As for the sb I would change over to Disenchant. This will give you an out vs Stormbind.

Yeah, I agree about the 4th angel. I'm cutting the booms for 1 angel, 1 careful...but I don't know about the 3rd replacement. I'll try out the drake first, but I'm leaning more toward a careful #4 or teaching #3.

I've been really happy with the ancient grudges. Artifact mana is much more prevalent than good enchantments and the flashback is pretty strong.

I agree that the red aggro hasn't been played much lately. I did just win a match against it 2-0 where lightning angel was a superhero.

I'm not going to cut a lens, because lens and cloudskate are my only 2 drops, lens sets up my 4 drops (which there are a ton of).

Thanks for the comments!

Boom/bust is amazing in that deck, the deck is all based around tempo, I would suggest

-2 Mystical Teachings
-1 Bogardan Hellkite
-1 Coalition Relic
-2 Plains

+1 Boom // Bust
+3 Vesuvan Shapeshifter
+2 Flagstone of Trokair

Teachings is not good when you are playing a tempo based deck, its only good in land-go control.

Boom // Bust is the reason this deck is good even if you dont hit Flagstones you can hit a factory/storage land and still get an advantage.

Shapshifter is an amazing creature in this deck, as you can hard cast him and copy any of your other guys, then you can blink him also.

4xFlagstones
3xPlains
4xTerramorphic Expanse
2xCalciform Pools
6xIsland
5xMountain

4xAvalanche Riders
4xShapeshifters
3xLightning Angels
4xBrine Elemental
4xCloudskates

3xCoalition Relics
4xDelay
3xBoom//Bust
3xMomentary Blink
2xSnapback
2xDisintegrate

I'm thinking that I may need to put lens in instead of relics to get a riders out faster. And stonecloaker does have good synergy with the deck....maybe...

-1 Disintegrate
-1 Brine Elemental
-3 Coalition Relics

+2 Stonecloaker
+3 Prismatic Lens

thoughts????

You should be running aven riftwatcher in the sideboard for RDW that is the best card for that matchup with blink. Seht's Tiger doesn't hurt either.
