Jevus! calm down with the racism. I'm black and I neither drink nor smoke nor live in some craptacular neighborhood with a bunch of liquor stores and broken down houses. Granted, I live in New Mexico where the majority of the population is Hispanic (as far as I know...) so black people are relatively few in number.

Well the thing is not ALL black people live in poverty, but a MAJORITY do. Look at any U.S. census of major cities for example NYC, Los Angeles, Chicago. Majority of black people are below the poverty line. Everyone calls Caucasian people, or people of light skin tone WHITE, so why the fuck can't we call people of dark skin BLACK? Like drink said, barely any of them are from Africa, and it has been generations since some of their ancestors came over to America from Africa. You can call them African Americans, but it's not a universally accepted term now because what if one's ancestors came from for example Spain, but had dark skin? You can't call them Africans you dumbasses they're from fucking Spain (Or any other country that they emigrated out of besides Africa). Since they now live in America, shouldn't it be only correct to call them Americans?? Whoever the fuck coined the term African American is long dead, and the term should be as well

I simply said African American for flavor purposes. I could have said black, but as I said earlier, it really does seem rude to me. Not insulting, just rude. Recently I've discovered my disliking to being called white when I found out I'm actually part spanish.

Yes, Revik, I'm originally from Buffalo, NY. I know where Rich Stadium is (now called Ralph C. Wilson Stadium.) I grew up in North Buffalo, but lived all over the place during high school (long story) then after high school I finally settled back into N.B. About 8 months ago I moved to Massachusettes to live with my newly found mother. After about six months, I discovered she was not worth my time nor effort and left there for Baltimore where my sister lives. And here I am now.

This is all very theraputic for me, I have anger issues and hate dealing with idiots. I have no patience for them. This ranting is simply another way to let off some steam without breaking parts of my computer or putting holes in walls, a former practice of mine. I'm actually thinking of writing a book about my life. No guarantee how interesting it will be, but it'll be a book about me. So this is also good practice.

Even if you're not trying to be rude, you might be doing it unintentionally. For example, all your problems seem to have been from as I said before, blacks (AA's) / blue collar, and they are also the source of your anger issues while you hate dealing with idiots, which links back to blacks / blue collar. Therefore you regard them as inferior, and when you regard a race as inferior, that makes you a racist based on the definition of racism.
Hating America because of a certain race is simply wrong, and shouldn't hinder you from enjoying the benefits living in America has to offer. There are two simple, easy solutions.
1. Move to areas where the population shares the same idea as you. As you get to live among them, you will find that the whites and blacks are segregated, and you will experience less problems.
2. Raise more money and live in the suburbs where the cost of living is higher, and the population of black people is lower.
If this certain race gets to be a problem to you, you can't make them leave, you can only leave.

I go to subway every work day, and go to them all the time in between when im out of town and want fast food, never had an issue of repeating myself that many times. I have had some make really lazy or stingy sandwhiches though.

Meanwhile, why is everyone discussing what to call black people? You could just call them people. If they are being racist to you, that is their loss, because clearly indicating by your story, you have nothing against anyone else sitting beside you. So at least the judgemental assholes are weeding themselves out of contact with you. Saves yourself some work.

one of the weirder and aggrivating moments is when a black kid sits next to me on the bus, and procedes to insult me and call me a n***er...even though I'm about as white as you can be w/o being pale-skeletony.

I notice the fucked up xenophobia of chocolate people. Sometimes I feel tempted to assure them that I have no whip, gang to capture and enslave them, or a cotton farm. It isn't even so much a fear as a...I don't know what...retarded fucking trait. I find the 'states chocofolks are pretty different from the chocofolks in Vancouver though.

One thing I noticed while I was in California is that hispanic people fuckin' rock. I'd be sitting by an ampm drinking bored, by Anaheim and this g-ride-looking cadillac roles up and all these esses come out and shit and I am too lifted from my 40oz to notice they are probably coke dealers and I ask them what's up etc and these guys just sit around and bullshit with me. Same thing happened all the time I was there, wherever I was.

I'd be damned if that happened much with the black folks though. Only one was friendly to me the whole time I was there. All the others were all like "damn cracker wants to steal my grill and get me pickin' cotton...fuck you cracker, I ain't gonna acknowledge you...I don't give a shit if you can't find the house of blues, damn peckerwood".

I think there are Black people or whatever and then there are n***ers. N***ers are the assholes that live up to the negative stereotypes and perpetuate those stereotypes.

Hispanic people rule though.
