hi! =)

im looking for people willing to try a game i designed. Im testing it's playability right now. it has elements from chess and a strategy card game. you build an army, fight against other players on a field. Several win conditions, has an element of surprise, includes a variety of characters, (hopefully) very easy to play, (hopefully) playable, and it is free! (more like a free alternative to CCGs). anyone interested can visit the yahoo group I made for my game. I appreciate comments on how to make it more playable. =)

Games should be played, enjoyed and shared =) that's the goal of my game.

If you're interested, the group address is:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/warlords_game

thank you in advance! =) you can email me if you have questions.

hi!

everything needed for the game is found in the Files Section. This includes the (i)rules, (ii)the playing field, and (iii)the cards (in jpeg format).

I just recently finished making a Rulebook which includes the rules, diagrams and some exmaples to make new players learn it faster. You can download it at the Files section =)

afterwards, if you feel that you want to try playing it already, download the 6x6 Grid. That will be the playing field. All you need are 6 sheets of 8.5x11 paper.

Then, go to the "Complete set of card" Folder, still in the Files section and download the 6 files. These files contain the all the playable cards so far. Print them and have them photoopied as mayn times as you want. Cut 'em and stick 'em to old Magic cards you dont use anymore.

(Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) hahah

finally, create an army and start trying the game =)

Hope i was able to answer you concerns.

If you still feel like it, coming visit the page again and have another crack at it. I appreciate your interest in my game.

Thank you very much =)
