| Does it actually have to do with whose turn it is? It would seem like hulk resolves getting the disciples and 0/0s then as soon as its done resolving they all die to state based effects and the disciples trigger. Just like if you akroma's vengeance affinity with disciple out, you still lose all the life. |

I could be wrong it might just not affect it at all, here's the ruling I found.
Q: Does Engineered Plague on Human/Cleric work against Disciple of the Vault and 0/0 artifacts?
A: No. Disciples will go to the graveyard at the same time as the other 0/0s, and cards that leave play at the same time "see" each other leave play (410.10d). |

| If the disciples and the artifacts die at the same time then they WILL see each other and the targeted player will indeed lose the life. |
