I'm sure a lot of people are going to go against MSN simply because they want to be cool and fight the evil super corporation that is Microsoft, but in all honestly IE has just seemed to be superior to me. There are also a lot of websites that are specifically designed to work with IE and cause errors on others.

Come on, IE has a lot of bugs (yes, actually, Firefox does too, but due to the fact, that 90% use IE, all exploits are only for that one browser), IE hasn't such functionality, IE is not open source => bugs cannot be found/fixed, no extensions/skins are available, compare with Firefox. Btw, it's "Mozilla Firefox", not "Firefox Explorer"...

And yes, there are sites designed only for IE, but these programmers just suck. What to do, when I'm online using *unix? MacOS? And we shouldn't forget that MSN.com "cheat", when they were fightning Opera some years ago, and, after determining "Opera" in User-Agent field, sent bad CSS on purpose.

Do You want to install Firefox/Opera/Anything else and uninstall IE? Sorry, not possible, IE is built-in in MSWin so tight, that it's impossible to get it out. Why? MS is afraid of losing control.
Whah. Just try Firefox once, and You'll get the difference.

Where is the option "other" for people who don't use either?

The only reason sites are design for IE only is because IE is yet to follow web standards as set by the W3.

I voted for fox even though I don't have it. My dad would kill me if he found out I was downloading "strange" stuff online.

I use firefox actualy, but I took the liberty to look at the site stats (there is a small link on the bottom of the m,ain poage that will take you there).
I have copied the browser stats for you:
1. Internet Explorer 6.x 67.2 %
2. Mozilla Firefox 1.x 27.6 %
3. Internet Explorer 5.x 1.5 %
4. Mozilla 1.x 1.5 %
5. Opera 7.x 1.5 %
6. Safari 1.x 0.7 %
Total 100.0 %

pretty clear huh?

IE has the most users, due to the fact it comes preinstalled on home computers, and most home users don't really no that there are alternates out there.

netscape started from mozilla I believe (or the other way around, not sure) but it has nothing to do with internet explorer.
