Yeah he doesn't know what hes talking about. Affinity is very solid right now as is agro loam. As for TEPS that deck is on the way out unless simian spirit guide can make that much of a difference because the deck dies to orim's chant so bad and so many decks are starting to play it now. As for boros they just got better with blood knight but I still don't like the deck. Also I guess he doesn't think affinity has any way to deal with kataki. I mean it's not like they run shrapnel blast, fire/ice, darkblast, pyrite spellbomb, or cabal therapy so I guess they do just die to kataki all the time.

Aggro loam beats Affinity is it don't have a nuts draw but I'm to lucky so I don't lose against aggro loam, and boros is just a good mu (if you lose against it your noob, after sb things are diffirent but your changes are still high)

I have a broken affinity decklist but I'll post it after I got qualified Wink (I hope I can post it Twisted Evil )

Aggro Loam is a good matchup. Pithing Needle for Assualt, and Crypt for Terravore. Devastating Dreams just reads, give target ravager +x,+x

Star is indeed better then Sphere...

EvilMouseMan it is a good mu if those are ALL in play but it seems like you never tested this matchup carefully, it's just a bad mu ...

Has anyone thought about Mishra or Tinket Mage in Affinity? The combo would provide great color fixing, card drawing though Chromatic Star and deck thinning.

With Mishra in play Chromatic star is slightly better then Thoughtcast. It thins the deck by one, gets two cards, and adds 2/2 to Ravanger. Terraion does the same but it comes into play tapped. So it is almost like playing 12 Thoughtcast.dec

I am not sure if it will be a big deck again due to Hurkel's Recall and Shatterstorm in the format. Also the Dredge combo decks can still kill you fatster. The deck may need main deck answers to Dredge. Main deck Tormod's Crypt with Trinket Mage tutor may not be enough to win game one. Stopping the Dread Return is the key I think. Kataki, in the fish decks is an issue that be stopped by removal like Sudden Shock or Smother on the sideboard. Other issues are Pithing Needle, Meddling Mage, Krosan Grip, and Azorious Guildmage.

I have not seen an update to the deck in a long time. So has anyone updated a list, tested Trinket/Mishra, have any standings from an Ext tourney with the changes or without?
