| If you use wild pair... is there a way to get Vesuvan Shapeshifter? i guess technically he is 0/0? so that would be hard to do... is it possible? what creatures could do it? could a morph do it? |

to get the shapeshifter you would have to play graft or modular creatures and stack cip ablities where it would work

if you play a spike feeder
he comes into play with 2 +1+1 counters
so his p+t=4 and you could only search for a critter with that sum
not shapeshifter
ps: you can modify the p/t in resp to the trigger to search something else |

There is no way you can do this except if you indeed play a 0/0 creature ... if Wild Pair triggered with creature spell you would be able to use the spikes but unfortunately you can't
no combo here ... |

For those who are interested, you can stack Ronin Warclub's attach-on-CIP ability such that you attach RW first, then you search for a creature with that much total P/T. Same goes for Juniper Order Ranger and Graft creatures.
The thing I still don't understand is if it refers to total base P/T (ie, +1/+1 counters don't count) or just total P/T? I guess the wording is obvious but I hope someone can confirm this. |
