Who knows where I can find upcomming events for the Chicago Area? I am planning a trip to visit some friends, but I would like to fit in a tournament if possible.

On the wizards site, you can search event by area. They even tell you where FNMs are being played.

Pasttimes gets overcrowded for prereleases but other than that it is a fine place. I judge the prereleases there and rudeness by staff is not tolerated.

Yeah I only go for big events I did a smaller like 30 person event which was fine but for bigger events its terrible and the trip to indy is well worth it.

I'm the TO for events run out at College of Dupage in Glen Ellyn

We run

Mon - Legacy 6 pm $5

Wed - Booster Draft 6 pm $10 (draft for picks)

Fri - Friday Night Magic $6 - every player gets at least one booster

Sun - Extended 12 pm $5 (starting Jan 7th)

We also run release events when new sets come out, and we have hosted Power events. Ask any type 1 player who's been here. They LOVE the environment.

If you have any questions e-mail me at Drummer79@aol.com

Thanks!!
