BOROS DECK WINS

4x Grim Lavamancer
4x Savannah Lions
4x Isamaru, Hound of Konda
4x Goblin Legionnaire
4x Silver Knight
3x Soltari Priest
4x Lava Dart
4x Lightning Helix
4x Sudden Shock
4x Molten Rain
4x Sacred Foundry
3x Mountain
3x Wooded Foothills
3x Bloodstained Mire
3x Windswept Heath
2x Barbarian Ring
1x Eiganjo Castle
1x Shinka, the Bloodsoaked Keep
1x Plains

SIDEBOARD:

3x Umezawa's Jitte
3x Disenchant
3x Kataki, War's Wage
6x ???

I moved the Soltari Priests Maindeck. This is a better choice than Kataki because Affinity isn't around in droves, and that Soltari Priest is a larger threat than Kataki in non-Affinity matches. I moved Kataki to the sideboard for now, but I am considering dropping her entirely. This is due to the fact I already have a solid matchup against Affinity, and that I have added three Disenchants to the sideboard. Adding the Disenchants was an easy move, giving me an answer against enchantments as goodrat suggested and acting as spot removal against Affinity. I am, however, beginning to see a problem with the deck. The manabase is starting to look strained because of the greater need to hit WW early in the game. My concern lies on how crippling an early Stifle or Molten Rain could be, and whether I should strengthen the white in the mana base or leave it alone.

if you are so concerned about the mirror, pyrite spellbomb SB maybe? Needles seem like they could get a place?

I'll suggest Master Warcraft as one of your sideborad cards if not in the main deck. I just think it's a really good card. You can use it as a predatary focus on your turn, an expensive holy day on theirs in its simplest forms but then being able to decide what blocks what when you have the creature advantage or just want to kill something on your opponents side is great.

master warcraft is a little slow for extended. For sideboard I think you want Sulfuric Vortex, and also you really need 4 Pyrostatic Pillar, both for No-Stick and TEPS.

Have you thought about the green splash? I'm playing a mostly-copy of the Karsten BDW with green today at an Extended city champs tourney, I'll let you know how itr goes...but if you are gunning for the mirror, you obv. want 4 knight, 4 priest...it's also nice to watch kird apes beat up their isamarus/lions, and also, it gives you armadillo cloak sb, which is freaking amazing in the mirror, and you could reduce 3 disenchant / 3 kataki to 4 ancient grudge, and absolutely amazing card against affinity and no-stick both...

I've found Sphere of Truth to be a great sideboard against Boros. However, since I haven't played a Boros myself, I don't know if it's a great idea in your particular deck.

Sorry for bringing this back up, It's been dead here for over a year but I wanted to ask something.

I have a similar build to that, taking the fact that im using boros swiftblade instead of lavamancer and firebolt instead of lava dart and jittes main.. What I wanted to ask is, is there any more uncounterable burn, such as sudden shock? I thought, wow maybe urza's rage? Im not sure. But I'm having trouble dealing with Tron and U control decks. Any suggestions? I've also been using brute force, to combo with boros, it's quite nice ^^ .. they always let the normal 2 damage go in and then boom 8 Shocked

Suggestions needed anyway Wink
