I don't know if I was right or not or the opp was right.
I blazed the Children so he couldn't sac it after my attack face to gain the life back.
In res he sacs the Children.
So after they are off the field I attacked with my 5/5 Wurm and a Vaisino SandStalker to do 9 damage.
According to him the Children (since they were sacced) are perventing the damage to him and instead he is gaining the life.
But if I read the Card right!
Sac them and You gain the life you lost that turn. If I'm thinking right is Triggers right when he is sac... not later on.
Can someone help me? |

You are correct. To gain life, he must have already lost that life in that turn.
In the situation you describe, he gains nothing, because when he sacs the Children of Korlis he hasn´t lost any life yet.
The same happens if he sacs with damage on the stack.. He gains nothing, because damage hasn´t resolved yet.
Best regards
