Actually if you think about it, to put colours on cards like these seems a bit out-of-place. I can actually think of some real-world equivalents if we "convert" Magic to real life.

Mana - resources like gold, iron and uranium
Creature - Unit
Enchantment - Structure (this is the closest resemblance I can think of)
Artifact - Equipment will most likely be weapons...
Sorcery - Battle plans? Rolling Eyes
Instant - Battle orders? Rolling Eyes
