Isn't Coalition Victory affected by duals? So maybe...

Coalition victory says basic land types and duals have two basic land types a piece. Thus why it counts, but terramorphic expanse says basic land card, meaning any card with the name Plains, Island, Swamp, Mountain, Forest. Or any of there snow covered version.

Theres a huge difference between basic lands and basic land types. Expanse fetches basic lands, much in the way sakura tribe or rampant growth do. It does not search out forests, mountains, swamps, islands or plains, like farseek which searches for a the type of basic land. NO IT DOES NOT GET DUALS. In short.

Unless listed "basic land" as a "supertype", a land is nonbasic.
However, any land can have "subtypes" such as Island, Forest etc, the "basic land types". Having a basic land subtype does not entail having the basic supertype

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Basic Land Type: There are five basic land types: Plains, Island, Swamp, Mountain, and Forest. Every basic land type has a mana ability associated with it.

212.6c. Land subtypes are always a single word and are listed after a long dash. Land subtypes are also called land types. Lands may have multiple subtypes.

212.6d. The basic land types are Plains, Island, Swamp, Mountain, and Forest. If an object uses the words "basic land type," it's referring to one of these subtypes. A land with a basic land type has an intrinsic ability to produce colored mana. (See rule 406, "Mana Abilities.") The land is treated as if its text box included, "{T}: Add [mana symbol] to your mana pool," even if the text box doesn't actually contain text or the card has no text box. Plains produce white mana; Islands, blue; Swamps, black; Mountains, red; and Forests, green.

212.6f. Any land with the supertype "basic" is a basic land. Any land that doesn't have this supertype is a nonbasic land.
