hi every 1 tell me what you think about this the top 8 master could be play in best of 5 game like at the nat the 1 player to win 3 win cuz you can have 2 time a shit hand or your opp have a god draw and if you lose 3 game in a row i think you are vs a bad macht up ^^ thas could make the top 8 morre fun tell me what you think about this plz

Best of 5 is indeed better for t8. Anyone can have a bad draw. Best of 5 eliminates the luck factor for a small portion.

the idea is nice but I have a funny story about it, little time bfr nationals in Israel some ppl including indie from here m-l had the idea to play the qf of T8 best out of 5 cause its actually the most importent game (t4 goes to worlds) so the idea caught up and qf was indeed best of 5 which was probably good for the sake of the game but cause it was late day 2 as indie himself who btw lucksuked into top 8 said that the idea he offered was quite stpd and he doesnt mind playing just 3 games right now and finish the whole thing earlier...

so anyway loos good idea but top 8 is usually after 6-8 rounds and something like 9+ hours so playing best 5 might be really tiring but I will anyway lose in qf so I dont care.

Yes, I think is a good idea, the problem is that the master is a very long tournament, (6-7 rounds + 3 rounds of top8) and with this the top8 rounds should last at least 75 mins, thus making the tourney even longer.

I think its a good idea, but as we cant have 2days tournaments, i think its better best-of3 than best-of5

I like it. Masters already take an insane amount of time - a hour won't make a difference and the feeling of importance will give a lot of joy Very Happy

Also realize that the longer you're on, the more chance that there's going to be some random technical glitch that'll cost you a game anyway, so it probably doesn't matter.
