Hey i was wondering, say 2 creatures that have a creature type of snake elf druid (coiling oracle) and i play coat of arms, does tht mean the two coiling oracles get +1/+1 for each creature type? They're originally 1/1 but if the creature type issue applies then the 1/1's turn into 4/4's

And do Coat of Arms Stack? a few friends of mine keep argueing over it since they can't handle it Twisted Evil

1 coat of arms will give the bonus one time to each creature, per creature...
Ex. lets say you have an Elf Druid Snake, an Elf Druid, and a snake. The elf druid snake would get +2/+2 for having 2 creatures share a creature type with it.

and yes multiple coat of arms work.

If Coat read "for each creature type shared", then it would work as you wish. Howevever, it reads "All creatures get +1/+1 for each other creature that shares a creature type". So long as you understand English, you'll know that means a creature can only get one bonus per creature.

Errata: Each creature gets +1/+1 for each other creature in play that shares a creature type with it. (For example, if a Goblin Warrior, a Goblin Scout, and a Zombie Goblin are in play, each gets +2/+2.)

* 4-10-2004 If a creature in play has more than one creature type, and one of those types matches the creature you are calculating for, then count this creature. Only one type needs to match in order to get counted.
* 4-10-2004 If you have a creature with more than one creature type, and another creature matches more than one creature type, you only count that creature once. You do not double count it because it has a double match.
* 4-10-2004 If you have a creature with more than one creature type, count all creatures which have either creature type.

if you have 2 creatures that share a type each will get +1/+1.

EG y'all

And yes, they do stack. Your creatures gain bonuses from each Coat of Arms.

Evlish Guest, he isnt talking about multiple coat of arms, but multiple creatures. multiple coats stack but no they dont get extra bonuses from only one coat, lets say there are three Coiling oracles in play and nothing else. They are "snake elf druid" so they will all get +2/+2.

because they each creature shares a creature type with 2 other creatures. the number of creature types doesn't matter, only the number of creatures.
