Instant
~ deals damage to target creature equal to the number of times it was the target of a spell or ability this turn plus 1.

is this worded right for what it should do? and does it need any tweaking?

Altar of Illusion
2
Artifact (Rare)

T: Target permanent with one permanent type becomes another permanant type in addition to its first type until end of turn. If you choose creature as a permanant type, it becomes 1/1. (The permanant types are artifact, creature, enchantment, and land.)

"How can this be happening?"

Edit: This looks a little broken and I had a lot of other ideas for it. But I like the idea. Any suggestions/comments?

Remove each land you control from the game. Return those lands to play under their owners’ control at the beginning of your next main phase.

Reckless Theft UU
Instant
Remove from the game the top card of target player's library. You may play that card this turn without paying its mana cost. If you do, lose X life, where X is that spell's converted mana cost

Mind Bleeder 3U
Creature - Vampire Rogue
BBU T: Each player puts the top card of his or her library into his or her graveyard. For each creature card put into the graveyard this way, put a +1/+1 counter on Ming Bleeder.
3/1

Soul Gorger 1BBB
Creature - Zombie Wizard
Whenever a creature comes into play, put a +1/+1 counter on a creature you control other than Soul Gorger.
Whenever a creature comes into play, Soul Gorger gets -1/-1 until end of turn.
1/4

Go Fisher 2U
Creature - Human Rogue
2 T: Name a card. Draw a card unless any player discards a card with that name.
1/3

Jimmy the Hand BWW
Legendary Creeature - Human Rogue
Jimmy the Hand comes into play with three +1/+1 counters on it.
Remove a +1/+1 counter from Jimmy the Hand: Regenerate target creature.
If you would draw a card, you may pay 1 and skip that draw and put a +1/+1 counter on Jimmy the Hand.
0/1

Portia Halftree 2BB
Legendary Creature - Halfling Rogue
T: Destroy target creature. Creatures you control get -2/-2 until end of turn.
2/3

Uncontrolable Rage 2R
Enchantment
Whenever a creature attacks it becomes a X/1 creature with trample where X is equal to it's power.

Avatar of Pain 6BB
Creature - Avatar
If you have 20 life, Avatar of Pain costs 6 less to play
When Avatar of Pain comes into play, lose 1 life.
Avatar of Pain's power and toughness are each equal to 20 minus your life total.
1: Lose 1 life.

Sea Sponge UU
Creature - Dweller
Sea Sponge comes into play tapped.
Defender (This creature can't attack.)
©Retention (For every point of damage this creature takes, it loses -0/-1. This damage is permanent.)
Sea Sponge can't be the target of spells or abilities.
"It's just a matter of time before a Sea Sponge falls victim to it's own harnessing power."
1/9

Retention = my own mechanic for the set i'm making, Infused.

if i were going to word that, i would do it like this...

Defender
Sea Sponge comes into play with 9 sponge counters on it.
Sea Sponge gets +0/+1 for each sponge coutner on it.
Sea Sponge cannot be the target of spells or abilities.
Whenever Sea Sponge is dealt damage, remove that many sponge counters from Sea Sponge.
1/0

also, i think you might want to look at maybe preventing the damage. the way it is now, a 5 power creature kills it. it takes five damage, then gets -0/-5.

Whenever Sea Sponge would be dealt damage, prevent that damage and remove that many sponge counters from Sea Sponge instead.

when it comes in to play you put a token with the same abilities...
that means that when the token comes in to play you put a token? and when this token comes in to play another token?
it is better that "when you play <this> put a token"
