|

Hi, I have 2 different B/W decks I want to use when going to the regionals. (I know both are kind of a long shot, but I play with what I have)
This first deck uses some creatures that avoid mass kill and wins though sapping energy and gaining life. The deck also uses some deck and hand control
Reusable Goons
//Creatures
2 x Akuta, born of ash
4 x Descentant of Kiyomaro
2 x Dimir House Guard
2 x Ink-eyes, Servent of Oni
//Spells
4 x Mortify
4 x Castigate
3 x Cranial Extraction
3 x Wrath of God
//Enchantmants
4 x Genju of the Fields
4 x Faiths Fetter's
3 x Phrexian Arena
//Artifacts
3 x Sensei's Divining top
//Land
4 x Godless Shrine
4 x Caves of Koilos
8 x Swamp
6 x Plains
///Sideboard
4 x Ghostly prison
3 x Sacred Ground
3 x Kami of Ancent Law
3 x Defence Grid
2 x Persecute
The next deck uses dimir house guard to find some relevent spells though transmute and wins through beats from angels and dragons, it also has the habit of keeping a large hand. (Which is good for Maro Effects)
House Guard Control
//Creatures
4 x Angel of Dispair
4 x Descendant of Kiyomaro
3 x Dimir House Guard
2 x Kagemaro, first to suffer
2 x Kokusho, the Evening Star
1 x Ink-Eyes, Servent of Oni
//Spells
4 x Mortify
1 x Wrath of God
1 x Eradicate
1 x Nightmare Void
1 x Persecute
//Enchantments
4 x Phyrexian Arena
4 x Faiths fetters
2 x Debtors' Knell
//Artifacts
4 x Orzhov Signet
//Land
4 x Godless Shrine
4 x Caves of Koilos
2 x Orzhov Basilica
1 x Shizo, Death's Store House
1 x Mirin, the moaninf Well
1 x Mikokoro, Center of the Sea
5 x Swamp
4 x Plains
///Sideboard
4 x Ghostly Prison
3 x Kami of Ancient Law
3 x Sacred Ground
2 x Cranial Extraction
1 x Wrath of God
1 x Seize the Soul
1 x Scour |

| Definately play the house guard control, but include more wraths, 1 can be too less against aggro. Include 4 (if you have them irl obv) |

| The house guard one is the better deck, but they're both pretty bad. |

| the houseguard is much more powerful something i liked to do while play testing a deck like that was main decking a cranial (if you have one) -the Kagemaro's for wrath you can tutor for the mass removal then. also minus the angels and add in more dragons again if you have them i would much rather see recuring yoseis or kokushos then angels from knell also think about more early game control like last gasp cus it really sucks to mortify a kird ape on turn three |

| if u can afford shrines, then you can probably afford the other stuff to make your decks better. i'd look at some of the pt lists |

| I traded for all 4 of the Godless Shrines (In one day :S). I will do mass trading on the day of the RQ (If I can get 2 Kokusho or Yosei, they will be decked). Also the Dimir House Control is based on a PT deck, just modified |

house guard is the betther one of those 2..but i don't know how good it is in this metagame.....but recomend you do this:
- 2 angel of despair, - 1 descendant of kiyomaro, - 1 kagemaro, - 3 sensei's divining top
+ 2 wrath + 3 last gasp + 2 yosei
SB - 1 wrath - 2 ghostly prison - 1 seize the soul - 1 kami of the ancient law
+ 4 defense grid, 1 ivory mask
you don't need to have more than 2 dragons or 2 angel of despair because you have debtor's knell to make them back and the divining top's are bad in this deck because you dont shuffle your deck besides you'll draw 2 times per turn so no need for topdecking something with the sensei's...add a miren, the moaning well to the mana base it works well with the dragons and debtor's knell jeje...defense grid is a card you must have because counters will make you lose every time |
