I don't much like the suggested decklist, because really, it packs to any of control-a-like decks as well as heartbeat

Any hearbeat players to drop turn2 swamp, turn3 mountain vs magnivore...
Come on, give us that 90-10 win ratio Laughing

Just like 9-11 x1000... there is NO way to possibly know the w-L ratio of anydeck vs. x. no way. I would go with heartbeat though...

why be ambiguous? you draw a wildfire 63% of the time if you see one third of your deck in a game.

heartbeat should be a 90-10 match-up with any vore build, here's a hint, without a swamp or a mountain, they can't win

as a vore player you shouldn't be relying on them running out of land, you should be able to win even if they drop a land every turn

"it packs to any of control-a-like decks as well as heartbeat" vore is an anti-control deck you dolt

if anything you've made it weaker vs control because you aren't dedicated to destroying lands early on

Yes, because good heartbeat players will play a swamp or mountain into an LD spell against an LD based deck! ITS THE NEW TECH!

Heartbeat is REALLY very hard match for the magnivore, only gay will sakura swamp/mountain...You don't have enough LD to completely stop them + they counter your main spells and as u win oly late game with a fat Vore, they pretty usually combo out before u do this..

I've played a few magnivore decks, and I just find them annoying. I've done BW control and Ideal against them, and surprisingly, Ideal kicked the crap out of vore. Confiscating two vores, (and I hard casted them), leaves the deck smashed. Then if Ideal goes off, just a COP red will stop the deck hard and fast.

My BW control has COP red in the board, and I won after boarding each time.

I dont think its a very good deck, just annoying.

Maher had to give up his Remands and extra Boomerangs to Heartbeat. Copying Team Std. lists may or may not be the best idea.

there are no conficts in the list, hb runs only one boomer, and vore for the most part dont run remand. that list looks very solid, only change i would make is one less tidings and one more boomer.

vore doesnt use any cards of other popular decks other than izzetron, and heatbeat needs 8-10 mana to go off, and only has muddle to stop your LD, do people honestly have trouble beating heartbeat? Shocked im amazed, it's practically a bye for me

Why in the hell would a heartbeat player drop a swamp or a mountain on turn two or three?

I haven't seen this in any match worth while to talk about. Maybe new Heartbeat players do this because they don't understand their deck yet, but thats's not a good idea. They usually keep the land in hand until they drop Invoke or Maga, unless they are playing against discard, in which case, there aren't many discard, LD decks (although it will be interesting to see if Wrecking Ball in a B/R deck will go after Heartbeat lands).

Vore is a good deck, but it won't surprise anyone. It is an inferior deck compared to what could be run, and if you plan on playing an inferior deck it should be a surprise deck that nobody has board options against like what Fireman Control and Owling Mine did. I'm not saying you won't win a few games with a Vore deck, but I will guarentee that you wont win the whole thing with it, or come near a top 8 spot.

People at Regionals will run these decks, Ghost Husk/Ghost Dad, Heartbeat, Gruul Beats, UW Control, and you might see a few Rakdos, a few mono red, and a few Zoo decks. Those will be the ones you will have to face with Vore, and Vore can't beat mono-red, Zoo, Rakdos, Gruul Beats, UW Control, or either of the BW decks consistently and I think it might be about a 60-40 favor towards Vore against Heartbeat, but when Heartbeat uses the transformational SB then you will have a problem with that too.

If Heartbeat is as prominent as some people think it might be at regionals (some say more than 50% of the decks will be heartbeat) then you might want to enter with a deck that eats hearbeat alive. That would be a Mill deck. I have thought about bringing the mill deck. It is strictly inferior to all decks on that list, but most people won't have board options for it, and it is very much better than heartbeat in the h2h, as in, it just doesnt lose to it at all in a 3 game series, and only gets better after the sb.

If you want to playtest your vore against any deck type let me know, i will build it and show you that it will probably lose to it, and lose quickly. It's not a bad deck, it's just not regionals quality. Take it to a FNM.

I have tested it, but very shortly, I need to do much more. Thus far, it has proven to me it can beat ghazi but that's about it. There's a lot to be done.

Did you just say it beats ghazi????? I have got to disagree hugely on that statement. I ahve played against it two times beating it very very easily...they can go first...the turn 2 boom doesnt scare me...i have elves and WF turn 6? sure ill pump x2 with my guildy...I have not had competetion at all against vore wtih ghazi cord..and plus i get Solifuge + COndemn after sb..
