what deck out there would be best to take if you want to just beat on husk. in other words, whats Ghost Husk's worst matchup?

I haven't lost to husk yet. I've been playing two incarnations of rg stompy, and a little deck I call RUG Burn.

i can see owl beating husk, but not very often. i haven't lost to husk with three dreams, but it's usually very close. i also haven't lost to husk with green acres, and it doesn't seem very close at all.

I really don't see the appeal of this BW craze.. imo, its a weak deck.

id vote for angel. I think a lot of control decks stand a good chance as long as they commit enough slots to creature hate and life gain.

lol, u guys are sooooooo stupid

owl crushes husk, and prolly beats it about 80% of the time

if you don't know this you are probably too stupid to actually test, and you just assume that owl loses to aggro cuz people say it. well, those people have only played zoo and gruul

well i have tsted husk extensivly and i disagree with you. i dont lose to owl. I have lost to it but been more to bad draws/extreme luck on there part then it has because owl can beat it. I dont know wht version of husk ur plying against or whaat version of owl ur using but i dontsee how owl beats husk consistently let alone 80 percent

Stupid enough to make up statistics? Although I haven't had a problem with husk, you must've been playing against a VERY weak version

The way I see it, Owl isn't really great against Husk. Not that it can't win, but it shouldn't be anywhere above 50% game 1. Have you ever seen someone upset that they drew another Pontiff? Not me. Owl does not have the Wrath to stabalize, and Pyroclasm is no answer indeed. Perhaps if Owl had an absolutely crazy hand every game, then yea 80% (then again, with that hand anyone is down to 20% because they're so unlucky). And don't run 4 karoo lands... it's a bad idea with Owl and Wildfires running around the environment.

To beat Husk you should probably look at a stable control deck (Hence "control" because you want to "control" the board). Angel is crazy good, and angel has the Helix/Condemn/Wrath board control that slows husk to that critical speed angel needs to win. Glare can beat Husk, but Glare is sitting in the background right now. Perhaps a Pro could pick up Glare and beat BW agro for a while (Added U teck for Azorious Guildmage... so good). Don't rely on Wildfires though, I'm up 17-9 vs Wildfires with Husker in playtesting. After board is even worse.

Overall - Wrath + backup is a solid way to beat BW agro/Husk. Look back to Onslaught or even further for standard Contol decks to understand why they beat Goblins or Madness, etc.
