Im building an Enduring Ideal deck that runs Dovescape, Meishin the mind cage and of course Form of the dragon. The problem is I dunno what's better between making it only UW or UGW.

1st option
: In the first option I'll have to use signets (azorius and izzet). what scares me about those is shaterring spree. In this option i'll need Tidings and research to find my Ideal. Of course ill be playin wrath, prolly remand, maybe condemn..

2nd option
: If go with some green I wanna play top, sakura and reach maybe. But its a real puzzle.. non basics or basics lands. Farseek or sakuras ? both ? 3 colors is less consistent...

I can't have a decklist right now because of this dilemma. I would appreciate your help. I think that the addition of Dovescape to the Enduring Ideal deck is awesome because your enchantments will never be in trouble EVER. You can do some nasty stuff with Boseiju too. Boseiju will rock since no UW or UG control decks play boomerang !

Anyways, would you guys go with UGW with top and library shufflers or just UW with signets and draw spells ? gimme the pros and cons if you want and feel free to post a decklist

thx Wink

dont run tidings, way too slow. youd want a turn 4 ideal to go off. so yes to the signets. 4-6 of them. and splash red for seething song. turn one land. turn 2 land signet. turn 3 cast 2 searchers, peer/telling time.
Turn 4 land into seething song into enduring ideal. with peer through depts at turn 4-5 enduring ideal goes off 40 percent of the time. also, you can replace either peer/telling time with sensei divine top. It doesn dig as far as peer but you can be sure your not gonna hit the enchantment you need after ideal is cast.

yeh, i play ideal as RWU, b/c of song... plus song also lets you hard cast FotD just as fast, in case its in hand, then you can let it sit while u wait for ideal, and control any fliers they may have out with wrath, fetters, condemn, etc.

I wouldnt put Dovescape in. Form is the win condition, and Dovescape gives your opponents a bunch of fliers. One good spell and they have enough fliers to kill you. Signets are good, but you might want to have Boros or Izzet, and have the red to hard cast form if you need to. Green is useless, you don't really need the mana accel, just deck accel. Telling time and sleight of hand can get you land and ideal, and you can keep putting enchantments on the bottom so that you dont have them in hand. if you have sacred foundries or steam vents, a fun alt win would be genju of the spires.

actually the best version of ideal i have seen uses top and reasearch to dig followed by ghostly prison and the enchantment that gives all guys -1-1, dovescape to make sure all other stuff but guys are countered, wrath, and then debtors knell and confiscate to beat you over the head with your own stuff to take the win
