This is a deck that I just came up with, the idea is to bide time until a dovescape and ghostly prison, countering their threats with your other counters. Play a pride and attack for the win.

Dovescape.dec
//Creatures (12)
4 Pride of the Clouds
4 Drift of Phantasms (Search for Ghostly Prison)
4 Etheral Usher (Search for Doverscape)

//Draw (4)
4 Compulsive Research

//Counters (12)
4 Muddle the Mixture (Search for Pride of the Clouds)
4 Mana Leak
4 Hinder

//Enchantments ( 8 )
4 Ghostly Prison
4 Dovescape

//Land (24)
4 Adarkar Wastes
4 Hallowed Fountain
10 Island
6 Plains

I was lucky as I managed to put each of the search cards to fit the deck. Drift also provides defense against early aggro. Etheral Usher pushes pride through their birds/creatures and muddle acts as another counter.

Please give me feedback on this deck, what does it need to work? I'm not looking to make a tier 1 deck but I do feel that this can be made competetive.

It's "Dovescape"; You're welcome - Vacancy

your counters wont do anything but give you tokens with Dovescape on the board.

Crap didn't see that.

Etheral Usher is there to get Pride through.

Does this deck seem viable or should I drop it?

kami of ancient law still goes through, which can really suck. i've made about 5 different dovescape decks because i love the card. i think the best thing you can do with it is probably ideal, but in theory it's not bad. i've been playing with a R/W djinn illuminatus/dovescape deck because replicate with dovescape is entertaining. get some birds and still get helixes through Smile

By that point, it shouldn't matter. If I'm really wrong about that, consider Soulsworn Jury.

To deal with Koala, you'll need all 4 Pithing Needles in the board, and perhaps Azorius Guildmage as well.

It also seems like you could use some sort of acceleration - signets?

The only thing is... this just isn't as good as the other combo decks in the format. The combo doesn't just win the game all by itself.

I agree, maybe I should forget about it.

not to mention any lock that rellies on more then 2 cards needs to be fast and Dovescape itself is 6 mana.
