With all the hype for new decks and things from dissension i want to take a look back at regular RW which has had alot of good things added to it from dissension.

//NAME: Boros Legion
SB: 3 War's Toll(against blue decks)
SB: 1 Flash Conscription(useful)
SB: 1 Terashi's Grasp(self explanatory)
SB: 3 Pure Intentions(anti discard)
SB: 3 Samurai of the Pale Curtain(stop those gay gg decks)
SB: 4 Sacred Ground(anti vore)

7 Mountain
7 Plains
4 Battlefield Forge
4 Sacred Foundry

4 Boros Signet(accel)

4 Seal of Fire(best turn one play for us)
2 Devouring Light(don't need so many cause of condemn)
3 Condemn(StP)
3 Faith's Fetters(*_*)
4 Paladin en-Vec(anti rakdos)
2 Wrath of God(anti life)
4 Lightning Helix(best burn ever)
4 Firemane Angel(coolest angel)
3 Rakdos Pit Dragon(another good beater for you)
3 Terashi's Grasp(we need some hate)
2 Steeling Stance(tech, makes paladin 3/3 first strike, or 5/4 first strike angel, helps keep your guys alive against those bloody dragons)

with the advent of condemn and steeling stance i think my deck can stand up to gruul. not to mention terashi's grasp and wrath, devouring light, fetters, paladin..

I think he was saying Gruul is better at doing what Boros did (Kill quickly).

i guess im trying to say RW control is not as powerful as its 3 colour counterparts, or 2 colours with blue being one, and a boros deck (BDW) is simply not as good as gruul. so imo theres just no room for white heat decks as they should affectionately be known

I have an extremely effective RW deck... it's just burn with white for enchantment hate and Helix. It's pretty freakin' decent. Most people have probably heard about it. >.>

so if we set aside the fact that there may be decks just physically superior than boros. any comments on the deck itself?

Your deck confuses me. From the outlook it seems like a mixture on aggro and control but that's something Boros doesn't do. Its either or unfortunately.

Control is out IMO as all the other control decks will pretty much decimate this so we must go aggro.

There are other aggro decks out there namely zoo and gruul so we must either be faster than them or be different.

The question is what can white do that will benefit the deck rather than just running green for the beaters they have? I'm not really sure to be honest. There's lifegain (NO!), removal (RED!). I just think green is stronger. The only thing white DOES have over green is the sideboard. White has the nice CoP and also goodies like ghostly prison. My way to go about the Boros would be to have a nice curve and fill out the rest.

The best beaters IMO are solifuge and pit dragon. We could maybe abuse the hellbent of pit dragon and he can fly over the top to win the game. So from where I'm standing the deal would be to lay down threats and pull through for the damage.

4 Radkos Pit Dragon
4 Giant Solifuge
4 Thundersong Trumpeteer (helps the spider through)
4 char
4 faiths fetters (use them like mad)
4 seal of fire
4 scorched rusalka (sp?)
4 frostling
2 umezawa's jitte
3 boros signet

That's just off the top of my head. Its probably not very good.

What I'm trying to get across is the process of building the deck. Take the aggro element see what white can add to the scene, pick your route to victory. Use gatherer etc to get the cards you need.

Hope this helps.
