When I try to use the MWS resource editor... it displays an error message... what do I need to do to make it work?

wow way to not answer his question.

Besides the forums are supposed to be for good advice, not bad advice. MWS is obv. better for many reasons i am not going to get into right now.

As for your question what is the error message you keep getting?

Agreed on all points.

We need to know the error you are getting in order to figure out what must be done. Also, what exactly are you trying to do with the editor? Which file (and what kind of file) are you trying to use with it?

I don't think I have... I don't think merely going into solo play mode can do anything... I didn't meddle with any of the program's files save for updating them with the program's updater.

(edit) P.S.: I just clicked on the icon inside the program. (edit)

Try opening the Resource Editor from the icon in the Magic Workstation directory (not through MWSLibrary).

If that does not work, then I suggest reinstalling to get a fresh copy of the Resource Editor. Before reinstalling, move any decklists you want to keep. Some people have reported that they get erased.

BTW, you don't need the resource editor to get card pics.

The resource editor is for modifying and creating themes (I thought by pics he meant the frames).

If you want card pictures, you get them from MWSData (go on the forums for the latest information).

If you want a theme, they are also on MWSData (or you can try mine linked in my signature). FirePenguinMaster also has a Guide for thememakers on MWSData's forums.

You will need to re-enter your registration code, but it is the same code that you used first time.

Pretty much. We have had only one or two people that I remember have problems with the Resource Editor.

Post the problem and all the details you can at Magi-Soft.com's forums.
