Ok, this deck isn't all that good but I think its pretty fun to play and I hope with some help I can make it playable. I don't want to play any of the vore decks going around now so please don't post telling me I should just play one of those. Now, that being said here is my deck, any help would be appreciated.

Land
4 Watery Grave
4 Blood Crypt
4 Steam Vents
4 Shivan Reef
2 Swamp
2 mountain
2 Island

Creatures
4 Magnivore
4 Avatar of Discord

Spells
4 Compulsive Research
4 Brain Pry
4 Macrabe Waltz
4 Glimpse The Unthinkable
4 Wildfire
4 Eye of Nowhere
4 Infernal Tutor
2 Footsteps of Goryo

Pretty simple concept, glimpse yourself to get vore's and sorcery's into grave and pop vore into play or to your hand with waltz/footsteps. Wildfire to clear the board, a little card drawing with Research and there is no downside to brain pry cuz you get a sorcery in the grave and a cantrip or pull a threat from your opponent. The Avatars are there just for a second threat and you don't mind dropping 2 more sorcery or maybe a vore to retrive later. I've been thinking of adding izzet boilerworks but I'm not sure yet. No sidebored yet because I really never have time anymore to play test and mess around with ideas. Ok, add critisism at the beep.....

You will never mill someone ever with glimpse. I can only assume you are using to target yourself to make a big vore in which case you're retarted, but less so if you think you'll be winning games by milling an opponent.

this highlights perfectly why I h8te so many ppl in the magic-league community. he asked for help... and all you can do is mock his deckbuilding skills. Give me a couple of days to build/test the deck and I'll see what I can do to help. Do you have an email?

Yeah, I was rude. I never do that, but I was just making a joke on the previous guy's post. I'm sorry.

Anyway, if I can find time I'll help... (I have a LOT of my own decks I'm testing right now)

Plus, I'm giving you a bump!

First of all thanks for all your Shocked . Of course I am not trying to mill my opponent the glimpse is to get vore and sorcery's to grave. This is just a T2 legal casual deck really. dv8r if I see you in a room I'll PM my e-mail. I know I will never build a great deck on my own, which is why I am asking you brilliant (cough) minds for help. Apparently Shocked is the sign for I'm an A**hole now.

Granted, I am a dick from time to time, yeah I was a bit shocked to see this. I'll help you out with this if you'd like. I'm pretty sure you got my PM about this.

Shocked is what I did when I first saw this list, but I'll try to help out.

First off, cut the avatar and the glimpse. Sure, it's great if you can pull off the glimpse, but it's not going to happen and more often than not you hit stuff you need. The avatar is bad simply for card advantage. you play avatar and chuck 2 cards, wait a turn, then swing and I just boomerang in response. I've used 1 card to essentially kill 4 without them even touching the board (assuming he is recast) or even 3 if he is never seen again (1 dead card in hand).

The Footsteps is a good idea since the magnivore has haste, those are fine to keep. It's good to see I card I liked from BOK actually seeing play.

Brain pry is ok, but I prefer Distress if I were building the deck, however that causes extra mana constraints, so they are not effective at the moment, but may after revisions.

Macabre Waltz is another card that while it's ok, there are better in the format. You always just go with Raise Dead. Sure, it only grabs 1, but it's 1 mana less and if you grab a magnivore, that 1 mana will make a difference.

The tutor is a cool idea, but I don't think he fits the deck. I doubt you'll ever get the hellbent ability, thus hampering the card severely. I'm not exactly sure what you'd put in it's place though.

Also, only 22 lands? I'd seriously consider around 24-25 to help just a little bit extra. Mainly because you have to worry about color coordination and secondly because wildfire tends to roast through your own lands pretty quickly.

Hope this helps. -DJ
