No.
You don't respond to Tidings with Cerebral Vortex, you do it at the end of turn. |

good list pollo, dont you miss the electrolyzes?
i think its worth playing a deck with blood moon to improve your chances against the large number of almost entirely non basic mana bases around |

Ninja of the Deep Hours should be an auto 4-of. And Jitte should probably be as well.
It's really a toss up between Repeal and Electrolyze, each has it's advantages. Personally, I run Electrolyze just behind the thought of 2-for-1's.

| For all of you questioning his card selections, this is just a list from the pro tour honolulu, that placed about 18th. So obviously this is a pretty good list. I however, do play a fourth thought in sb and cerebral vortex can be awesome against owling mine in some key situations. as for post DIS updaters, only bredding pool is useful. I cut out 2 coasts and 2 karplusan forests. |

nah, defenitly a SB card. you defenitely dont want dead cards. this is the card to replace the vortex, cause it kills owl and some....
as for the deck... i think its defenitely a top contender, able to wreck both control, aggro, and combo with the right hands. |

| uh, so what do you guys think about maybe adding a few plaxmantas... he seems like a great card, almost like another counter. the list is kinda tight tho, so what to remove? |

| ok, ive been testing this deck for the past 3 days playing random games on mws. im currently 18-2 with this deck. the deck is simply amazing, able to outplay and outdraw almost every deck. i dont really want to release my version till after regionals (superstitious), but does anyone know of a SB option that would help vs promise husk, or ghost husk, whatever they call it. im currently trying pyroclasm which works ok, but that deck gave me my 2 losses, though i did beat it once. jitte is a big card in this matchup. i hear repeal is good, and maybe electrolyze, wich i took out for plaxmanta. |

i have tested the deck for a week or so and i dont like the deck that much..let me tell you why...i found that sea stompy needed the ninja way to much i found it was soooo hard for me to win without that turn 2 ninja..i might be wrong but i think the deck needs the ninja more than anything else in the deck

my record for this deck so far is better than outstanding... but lately ive been having way too much problems with ghost husk. its gotten to the point where i will abandon this deck w/o something new to make it better matchup.
i tested vs my friend who was playin it, and whent 6-4, 5 pre 5 post Sb game, and that was where i sided a LOT.
what are the possible SB or MB solutions to beating this deck. so far i can think of...
pithing needle on husk
naturalize on jitte/promise/grave pact from SB
spell snare for jitte/confidant
electrolyze/pyroclasm for tokens/confidant
iwamori to outsize and force some 2 for 1s
anything else that could help against ghost husk. i really want to use this deck for regionals, but i cant if i cannot beat husk |
