Well I decided to give red black a run and I have to say i love it. My sleeper hit card of the set has to be rain of gore. Talk about killer card coming in on game 2 against all the hierarch, fetter, angel, and other life gain crap. Fetters my Dozer suck 4. Toss your angel lose 1 per turn. Searing Meditation welcome to suckville. I may be off here but this card alone can kill some of the decks out there. I am presently running B/R Dozer LD and am looking for good add ins so anymore good cards you guys think of post them.

I've been messing with Rakdos pit dragon, and have found it to be effective with speed/removal. Likewise w/solifuge. On a side note, possibly pertaining to this deck as well, has anyone had any luck with stoneshaker shaman? I think it has potential.

Rakdos is pretty good but definitly NOT with hellbend.

Rain of gore is a good idea for sideboard.

Rakdos is good but I don't know if it's good enough. I lost 2-1 to it with my WB discard deck in the trial but I still can't believe on my bad luck!!! I had to mull to 3 on g2 which I lost and lost g3 too. In both games I lost I had mana problems. In the first one it's obvious why but I still managed to get back in the game but sadly my opp had a dark confident and I didn't have anything to kill it so he got card advantage (which was already obvious) and drawed a lot of direct damage. I think this deck relies too much on direct damage in combination with topdecks. I also couldn't draw any last gasp or mortify to kill his confident again and then, when things were looking good for me, thanks to various direct damage spells, he killed me.

Also on a side note: I've been getting horrible hands in terms of lands since the new patch in appr. It really sucks coz most of the time I draw 2 or less lands and whne I draw 3 or 4 I usually don't have anything for B there.
